Voici les caractéristiques techniques et autres valeurs importantes pour tout ce qui a trait à la TA22 GT et son moteur le 2T-G
Ces informations ont été collectées et regroupées ici. N'hésitez pas à me contacter sir vous découvrez une erreur, ou si vous avez des infos à ajouter.

La production complète des moteurs 2T à double arbre à cames a commencé en octobre 1970.
Les moteurs étaient produits sur commande spéciale de Toyota, Yamaha fournissant initialement les culasses.
Les moteurs 2T à double arbre à cames de la production peuvent être identifiés grâce aux numéros de moteur : Tous les blocs équipés de la culasse à double arbre à cames avaient des numéros d'identification commençant par 8.
Typiquement, un numéro de moteur 2T/2T-B est 0094490 tandis qu'un 2T-G est 8038332.
